Cross Curricular Tracker is powered by the Enterprise Tracker which was developed in house by Burnside Business & Enterprise College
The Enterprise Tracker was designed and developed by teachers for teachers. The tool allows teachers to quickly record all enterprise projects they conduct. It allows tracking of projects across the curriculum and also produces statistical analysis of all projects, which is easily accessible or downloadable by the click of a button.
The tracking system was initially conceived by Stephanie Wallace (Curriculum Leader for Business & Enterprise) for use internally at Burnside Business & Enterprise College . It was then only designed to record and evaluate projects ran in Burnside. Since its initial conception and development it was quickly realised that there was greater scope for the product. Since September 2006 we have been redeveloping the software, which now allows the tracking of the projects across the curriculum by sorting the projects into Year Groups and Term dates. The redevelopments have also included the introduction of statistical analysis to the system, allowing the production of graphs for predefined scenarios, as well as an optional function for downloading all data and statistics in the form of an Excel Spreadsheet. This is an excellent tool for Senior Management or Enterprise Coordinators to produce more advanced tracking and analysis if required.
